Lasting coexistence begins with the next generation.
WCT’s Young Voices for Wildlife initiative is building a network of student conservation leaders in schools located at the heart of conflict zones. Through structured Wildlife Conservation Clubs, students learn about ecosystem protection, personal safety and the role communities play in safeguarding wildlife and their habitats.
The program is already active in three schools:
- Nogirwet Primary School
- Nogirwet Secondary School
- Emarti Primary School
Through these clubs, students participate in conservation education sessions, peer awareness campaigns, environmental activities, and community dialogue. They become ambassadors for wildlife stewardship within their families and villages.
